Jason Alan Arwine, 37, died in the arms of his wife and surrounded by family on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016, at McKinney medical facility from complications from Parkinson's disease. Service: 11 a.m. Monday at Lucas Funeral Home, 1321 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, with burial following in Arwine Cemetery located on Arwine Cemetery Road in Hurst. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Lucas Funeral Home. The Family of Sgt. Jason A. Arwine has invited the Patriot Guard Riders to stand Honors at his Funeral Service and his Interment Service. Jason was born on Dec. 12, 1978, in Dallas to parents, Roger and Janie Juarez Arwine. He married Heather Horn Arwine on June 7, 2014, in Dallas. Jason served eight years in the United States Marine Corps. Jason had a zest for life, a true compassion for people, and a desire to help others at any cost. He was loved by a great many. Jason was taken from us too soon but will not be forgotten by the many lives he touched. Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Charlene Bell Arwine, and Florencio and Maria Olivarez Juarez. Survivors: Jason is survived by his loving wife of two years, Heather Horn Arwine; his dear parents, Roger and Janie Juarez Arwine; his sister, Leslie Yoakum (James); and many, many other devoted family members and friends.
