Diane married Gregory Allen of St. Helens, and became a life-long resident, raising their two children and working for the Columbia County Road Department until she retired in 2009. Diane was a fan of the Portland Winterhawks, was an avid bowler, loved the beach, and lived for her children and grandchildren.
Diane was a strong woman, a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband Gregory; her mother Donna Dahl, her siblings Patty (Bob) Maxson of Lopez Island, Washington and Mike (Suzie) Dahl of St. Helens, Oregon, her son Ryan (Brie) Allen and daughter Kristy Reynolds, as well as four grandchildren: Sidney, Brooke, and Natasha Allen and Kaiden Patterson, three nephews, and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her father, John.
A celebration of Diane's life and the legacy she has left behind will take place on Saturday, September 20th at 1 p.m. at Columbia Funeral Home in St. Helens, Oregon, followed by a reception.
