Harland E. McGeorge was born in Wilson Township, Charlevoix County, Michigan. He was the second Husband of Alvira Lucina Caplin, who he married July 2, 1951. Harland worked many years in Maple Lawn Cemetery as a groundskeeper for the City of Boyne City, and he is interred there now. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a member of the Boyne City American Legion. He died at Little Traverse Division, Northern Michigan Hospitals. Harland was known as a frugal and hardworking man. Good things to be.
