Charles Joseph Adams, 59, of Winamac, passed away January 12 in Pulaski Memorial Hospital following a three year illness.
Mr. Adams was born Nov. 19, 1919, in Pulaski County to Ledger and Celesta Maple Adams. He was married Aug. 24, 1946, in Pulaski to Mary Lou Swayzee; she survives. A veteran of World War II and a member of the Winamac VFW, he was employed as a machinist at Gilsinger Implement of Winamac for 25 years. He also worked for Pulaski County Co-Op.
Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Connie Hale, Dubios, PA., and Karen Button, Winamac; two sisters, Lulu May Hyatte, Winamac, and Violet Raderstorf, Idaville, and five grandchildren.
Burial was in McKinley Memorial Gardens. The Winamac VFW conducted graveside services.
