CORVALLIS -- Rae Ardis "Ardie" Greenough, 76, of Corvallis died Friday at an adult foster care home.
She was born in Corvallis to Ray and Mary (Holt) DeMoss, at the family home on Seventh and Jefferson. She graduated from Corvallis High School and from Oregon State College (now Oregon State University).
She married Quentin Greenough on Aug. 27, 1947, in Corvallis. She taught high school in Lebanon during the early years of her marriage and then concentrated on her family. She enjoyed family activities and liked traveling, music and sports. She was a member of the Corvallis Country Club and the Elks Lodge.
Surviving are husband Quentin; son Rick of Corvallis; daughter Janie Roberts of Portland; sisters Claranell Hardenburger, Maxine Durdan and Gracie Zwahlen, all of Corvallis; and grandsons David and Daron Roberts.
Sister Susan Gault Price died earlier.
Private, family services are planned. DeMoss-Durdan Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
