Jessie Marie (Hitchcock) Edgar, passed away with her family by her side, at the St. Peter's Hospital on August 20, 1997, in her 58th year, after a long battle with cancer. Born March 19, 1939, at Lake Edward, New Brunswick. Daughter to the late Lemuel and Bessie Hitchcock.
Predeceased by her husband, Jack Edgar, sister Ida, and brother Milford.
Survived by five brothers and four sisters. Mother to Mike O'Donnell, Cheryl O'Donnell and Shane, Patti Hill (John), Jackie Shepard (David), Shawn O'Donnell (Trish). Grandmother to Melissa, Armanda and Chris and great grandmother to Zachary, Katie and Jager.
Visitation will be held at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East Hamilton, on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 1pm. Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery to follow.
