William Herbert Sweet of Huntington West Virginia died Friday February 20, 2004 in St-Mary’s Medical Center. He was born April 24, 2011 in Bayonne, NJ a son of the late William John and Viola Mae Anson Sweet. He graduated from Lafayette College in Easton, Pa. with a Bachelor of Science degree. He was president of his graduating class; active in athletics where he was recognized for his play; and a member of the Bates Memorial Presbyterian Church. He was retired from management at the International Nickel Company. Surviving was his wife of 62 years, Eleanor Carlyn Everett Sweet; three daughters, Carol Bartlett of Tucson, Ariz, Lois Beuttel of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Janet Linville of Berea, Ky, six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Graveside services were held in Locust Hill Cemetery in Wharton N.J. Henson Mortuary of Huntington was entrusted with the arrangements.
