A funeral service for Bernie Lucas, age 61, of Jacksonville, is scheduled at 10 o’clock in the morning Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Jacksonville with Pastor Don Stanaland officiating. He will be laid to rest at Providence Cemetery.
Mr. Lucas passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2016.
Bernie was born February 14, 1955 in Jacksonville to Birdie and Annie (Hale) Lucas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Nina Lucas.
He is survived by a daughter, Nancy Lucas of Jacksonville; sisters, Judy McGee and husband Earl of Kingwood, Joyce Tarrant and husband Bobby of Jacksonville; and one granddaughter, Annabel Apilado of Jacksonville.
Visitation will begin on Friday, September 23, 2016 and friends are cordially invited to visit with the family from 6 to 8 o’clock in the evening at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
