He is survived by beloved friend Marcia Forde of Concord; his step-daughter Phyllis Doherty of Medford, and many friends in the HAM Radio community and beyond. He was predeceased by his son Mark Bowles.
He was a U.S. Army Korean Conflict Veteran, and ham radio operator, call sign N1OTC.
