Death Takes Mrs. Arnold
Mrs. William Homer Arnold, 60, of 643 W. Orchard drive, Traverse City, died Sunday evening at Munson hospital after a short illness.
The former Nina Buck was born at Union City on May 13, 1902, the daughter of Guy and Emma Buck, and as a small child came to Grand Traverse county with her parents. The family settled in Acme township and Mrs. Arnold attended Bates school. She was married to Mr. Arnold on July 5, 1923 and resided in Lansing until moving to Traverse City last October.
Surviving are: the husband; her father, a resident of Onaway; three brothers, Dilmer of Bates, and Byron and Glenn of Traverse City; a sister, Mrs. Nora Skuse of Onaway; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Martinson funeral home in Traverse City, Rev. James Grider officiating, with burial in the family lot in Acme cemetery.
