Robin D. "Rob" Tomey, 49, Crawfordsville, died at 5:05 a.m. Dec. 2, 2006, at his residence.
Born March 23, 1957, in Martinsville, he was the son of Horace and Kathryn (Nay) Tomey of Crawfordsville.
He married Cindy (Sutherlin) Tomey Feb. 14, 1974. She survives in Crawfordsville.
He had been the sales/service manager for Amerigas for four years.
He was a member of Woodland Heights Christian Church in Crawfordsville.
He was a member of the American Softball Association and had been scorekeeper for Wabash College football for 16 years.
He was a 1975 graduate of Crawfordsville High School and had attended Purdue University.
Other survivors include a son, Sean Patrick Tomey of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; a daughter, Kristin Lea Tomey Vallaly of Mundelein, Ill.; a sister, Kathy Hubbard of Crawfordsville; a grandmother, Charlotte Nay of Martinsville; and two grandchildren, Kaylee and Brent Tomey of Gulf Breeze, Fla.
The service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Woodland Heights Christian Church, 468 N. Woodland Heights Dr., Crawfordsville. The Rev. Steve Wilke will officiate.
Visiting hours will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Powers-Priebe Funeral Home, 315 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville.
Burial will be in Sutherlin Cemetery near Russellville.
