FLOYD A. ADAMS

FLOYD A. ADAMS, 91, OF 428 W. Melrose Ave., died at 1:57 p.m. Sunday at Winebrenner Health Care Center.

He was born June 13, 1901 in Findlay to Frank N. and Edith M. (Shemenour) Adams. He married Effie Ely on May 9, 1923 and she died May 27, 1952. He later married Olga Matthews on Aug. 11, 1965 and she survives.

Also surviving are five sons, Donald J. and Carl E., both of Findlay; Robert C. of Huntington Beach, California; David G. of San Diego, California; John F. of Yorba Linda, California; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dr. Leo J. of Cleveland.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Roland F. and Donald; and a sister, Lenore Kelley.

Mr. Adams was a retired carpenter. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus of the church and the Findlay Senior Citizens.

A funeral mass was said at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Downtown, the Rev. Martin Nassr, officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
A rosary was recited at the Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home.
