She was born on August 27, 1928, in Senoia, Georgia, to James Thomas and Nellie Kate Harper. She graduated from Starr High School in Sharpsburg, Georgia. She married Eugene Hubbard on June 11, 1949, and they settled in Senoia. She held various positions of employment, including banking, tax office, bookkeeping, and postal service.
She married Bruce Fry on January 1, 1996. She and Bruce moved to Texas in September 2001.
Hazel was a devoted member of Lorena United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a friend to everyone she met. She touched so many lives with her warm smile, sweet disposition and loving heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters and brother; her first husband, Eugene Hubbard; Bruce Fry, her second husband; and one daughter, Kathy Hubbard..
