Obituary:
Cecilia A. Beying, 85, of Easton, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 2006, at her home. She was born on May 11, 1921, in Easton, the daughter of Nicholas and Elizabeth (Ernzen) Wagner.
On June 11, 1941, she married Eugene F. Beying, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Easton. He preceded her in death on April 23, 2000.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene "Bud" Wagner and Leo Wagner; and two sons in-law, Dale E. Crook and Orvis Mowery.
Cecilia is survived by her children, Virginia Mowery, Easton, Donna Crook-Rogers (Jack Rogers) Easton, Robert (Karla) Beying, Easton, Linda (Dave) Land, Easton, and Larry (Susie) Beying, Easton.
She is also survived by a sister, Aurelia Brown, Topeka; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, sewing, and will be remembered for making baby quilts. Cecilia was a member of St. Lawrence Altar Society.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2006, at the R.L. Leintz Funeral Home. The rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 14 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Easton, with the Revs. Keith Lunsford and John Ayang S.O.L.T., as co-celebrants. Burial will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery.
