Virginia McCarley Childers, age 72, passed away Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 at North Mississippi Medical Center, Hamilton, AL. She is survived by her husband, Bud Childers, daughter, Tammy (Greg) Palmer, Son, Bobby (Beverly) Childers, grandchildren, Charles Trae Childers, Brooke Childers Compton, Kayla Harden Scott, and Tyson Slade Palmer. Great grandchildren Madylin Childers, Ashlan Childers, Knoxley Compton, Kloe Scott and Reece Scott, and sister Helen Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wheeler and Ozell Williams McCarley, son Jeffrey Childers, grandson Garrett Harden, brothers Halford McCarley, Quinon McCarley, Newburn McCarley and Royce McCarley.
