Mack Felton Perkins was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 25, 1922, in Louin, Miss. He went to his Heavenly Father on June 19, 2015. Our Father was a great man. Not great as the world may deem greatness. He never won any awards. He was never elected to any position. He wasn't a captain of industry. But, he loved his family completely.

He was faithful to his wife Marjorie for 66 years of marriage. He was faithful to his job as the head of a medical lab, a job he loved, until in his 70's. A job he got after receiving his college degree from Clinton College in Mississippi. This was a man that graduated from college though he did not finish the 10 th grade. It was the depression and he went to work for the WPA. Our Dad, as so many of his generation, served faithfully in the Army during WW II.

We are saddened in the loss of our Dad but we rejoice in knowing that he is in Heaven. He accepted Jesus as his personal Savior as a young man. He faithfully served his Savior through the church for the rest of his life. Eventually, being made a Deacon. He was a member of the Northside Baptist Church. He and our Mom particularly enjoyed their Thursday fellowship with the Prime Timers.

He is survived by his wife Marjorie, son Dr. Ken Perkins and wife Pam, daughter Nancy Zeornes and husband Wayne. Grandchildren Jason Hilzendager, Megan Capps and husband Justin, Lisa Hilzendager, Matlock Perkins, David Zeornes and wife Sabrina, and Angela Rodgers and husband Kendall. He has 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will be at Cashner Funeral Home on Monday June 22, 2015 from 5-8pm. Funeral service will be in the Cashner Colonial Chapel on Tuesday June 23, 2015 at 10am with Pastor Wes Pratt officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden Park Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be: Justin Capps, Payton Capps, Matlock Perkins, Ronnie Curry, Gary Schuelke and Travis Petty.
