Diane Passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the Hospice House of Brunswick, NC surrounded by lots of love.
She was born October 12, 1954 to the late Buster and Mattie Skipper.
Diane worked at J&J Cafeteria in Conway, SC for 33 years and her last job of 5 years was at Agape Nursing Home.
She fought cancer head on and her battle was long and tough; but she never quit until she was told nothing else would help.
Along with her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, Aubrey, Arland, and Ronald Skipper; and her nephew, Kyle M. Jones.
Surviving are her two sisters Shirley A. Tarte (Earl) of San Antonio, TX, and Barbara S. Jones of Shallotte, NC.
Diane loved and cherished all of her family; her happiest time was being with them. She made lots of friends in her life and their friendships kept her strong. Two of her special long-time friends are Carl Cox and Victoria Goff. These two people made her life even more special.
Diane loved animals, flowers and adored the season of Fall with all its wonderful colors. She loved to work on painting kits and collected bells from all around the world.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Goldfinch Funeral home, Conway Chapel with Rev. Mack Hutson officiating.
Burial will follow at Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
