The Rev. Bradley John Dawson, 49, passed away at 12:15 p.m. Saturday (September 9, 2006) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Bradley was born October 3, 1956, at Clinton a son of Carol G. and Irene Sosamon Dawson. He married Brenda Forrest on June 14, 1975, in the Weedman United Methodist Church, rural Farmer City, Illinois.

He is survived by wife, his mother, Irene Dawson, his son, Andrew Dawson, his three daughters, Rachel (Phil) Birkey, Rebecca (Donnie) Hager and Amber Dawson his two sisters, Gloria (Mark) Wills and Teresa (Doug) Thacker.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carol G. Dawson and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Bradley was the pastor and a memboer of the Victory Christian Center in Farmer City.

He graduated from Farmer City-Mansfield High School in 1974 and graduated from Rhema Bible College, Tulsa, Okla., in 1981.

Rev. Dawson was the state director of Rhema Ministerial Association International a member of the Blue Ridge Ministerial Association, vice president of Blue Ridge Education Foundation and coached softball, soccer, basketball and baseball.
