SHIPPENSBURG - Bruce Austin Fogelsanger, 56, of 11 Roxbury Rd., died of a heart condition early this morning at the Chambersburg Hospital, where he was admitted yesterday afternoon.

He was born on Sept. 13, 1905, in Newburg, a son of the late George Austin and Minnie Sippling Fogelsanger.

Mr. Fogelsanger was employed as a radio operator by the civilian defense system in Shippensburg.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Helen Elizabeth Beaver Fogelsanger; a stepdaughter, Miss Mary Anne Scheaffer, and a stepson, Howard Scheaffer, both of Shippensburg; a sister, mrs. Cora Bazzoni, Englishtown, N. J.; a brother, Donald Fogelsanger, New York City; four half-brothers and five half-sisters; g. Raymond Fogelsanger, Mrs. Verna Shoap and Mrs. Lester Snoke, all of Shippensburg; Miss Daisy Fogelsanger, New York City; Mrs. George Barnhart, Titusville, N. J.; William, John and Paul Fogelsanger and Miss Nancy Fogelsanger, all of Chambersburg, and a step-grandson.

Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Monday morning at the Van Scyoc funeral home, in charge of the Rev. M. C. Manning. Burial will be made in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens, near Carlisle.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday evening after 7 o'clock.
