At just 30 weeks and 5 days old, Cash Martin Adams passed away peacefully in his mother’s womb. He was born a stillborn angel at 3:45 PM, Saturday, September 24, 2016. During the hours after his birth, he touched many lives and was loved by them, for they truly witnessed an angel on earth.

In the months prior to his birth, Cash had already shared quite a lively personality. A few of his favorite things to do were to listen and dance to mommy playing “Little Bitty Pretty One” by Thurston Harris on the radio and listening to Daddy read “Green Eggs and Ham” by Dr. Seuss. He also always got excited when Mom ate orange sherbet. He was a happy baby and spread joy throughout his whole family.

Born nearly nine weeks early, weighting only 4 lb. 3 oz. and 18 ½ inches long, Cash had a full head of dark curly hair. It was debatable whether the sweet nose on his tiny face came from his mother or his father. However, there was no doubting that his long hands and feet came from his daddy. His overall appearance was perfect, peaceful, and angelic.

Cash was preceded in death by his twin sibling lost earlier in the pregnancy. He is survived by his parents, Mark and Brittney Adams; grandparents, Gary and Judy Adams, Toni and Brian Bowers, David Belt, Jr. and Kim Smith; great-grandparents, Wayne and Phyllis Stevens, Raymond and Charlotte Adams, David Belt, Sr., Ed and Laurie Bowers and Patricia DuFosee; great-great grandfather, Robert Stevens; aunts, Toni and Jeannie Adams, and Brianna and Bridgette Belt; uncle, Gabe Smith; and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.

“Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.” – A.A. Milne.

The Threads of Love ministry provided Cash with a handmade outfit sized for tiny babies. They are a non-denominational ministry serving Christ by offering comfort, hope, and encouragement in His name. We would be pleased to have you support their mission to help other grieving parents. Donations can be made in Cash’s memory to ThreadsofLove.org.

There will be a Mass for Cash Martin Adams at 12:00 PM, Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Father Job Scaria will be officiating with interment in Mulhearn Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.
