William J. McCoy, well known as Bill, as born to the parents of Perkins and Willie McCoy on May 26, 1897 and departed this life March 4, 1992 at Aberdeen-Monroe County Hospital.
He confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Cross Road Baptist Church in Aberdeen, Mississippi and later joined Sulphur Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Hamilton, Mississippi.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, Charity; five children, ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and may special friends
