Miles L. Behney, 100, ofSpang Crest Manor and formerly of Fredericksburg, died of natural causes,Thursday, April 6, 2000, at his residence.He was the husband of the late Estella L. Brown Behney. Born April 2, 1900, in Bethel Township, he was the son of the late Edwin and Emma Boeshore Behney. He retired from farming in 1981. He was a member of the Lebanon Valley Baptist Church. Surviving are a sister-in-law Viola M. Behney of Fredericksburg; a niece Carol, wife of Ronnie Farmer of Fredericksburg; two great-nieces; and two great-great-nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ray E. Behney. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at the Strauss-Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home, 48 W. Market St., Jonestown.
