He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Winifred E. Blansfield; his daughters, Susan D. Blansfield of Alexandria, VA, and Dr. Karen Charmaine Blansfield of Chapel Hill, NC; his brother, Rev. Earl Blansfield and his wife Betty of Salisbury, MD.
