Mrs. Catherine Amory Bennett Abbe, wife of the surgeon, Dr. Robert Abbe, died Saturday [25 Sep 1920] at her Bar Harbor residence after a short illness. Among her many social and civic activities in this city was her work with the Nineteenth Century Club and founder of the City History Club and was a member of the Colony Club and the Colonial Dames. Her home here was at 11 West Fiftieth Street.
