Ruth was a wonderful lady, an Army wife, who included me in her family for a couple years when the family lived in Longmeadow, MA and even beyond with several more years of correspondence until her untimely death. She adored her husband and 4 children, but any neighborhood kid was welcome in their home, and I spent many, many happy hours visiting. She was a very special lady who has been greatly missed.
