Mr. Kieffer died Monday, August 10, at the Schmidt Clinic after an extended illness. He was 76 years of age. Survivors include one sister, Ella, at home, two brothers, Chester of Washington, D. C. and Lawrence of West York.
He was for many years associated with his father, the late D. L. Kieffer in the contracting and building trade and he was considered a highly skilled cabinetmaker. He was a veteran of World War I.
