Mrs. Barbara Knox Taken By Death

Mrs. Barbara C. Knox, widow of James Knox, and one of Hamilton's oldest citizens, passed away today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Berlyn Barker, 913 North D street, at the age of 71 years. The cause of her death was apoplexy.

Mrs. Knox was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, February 5, 1857. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church and has been very active in church service.

She leaves a sister, Mrs. E Matthins, of Minneapolis; four brothers, Louis, Frank and Edward Adams, of Oregon, and Everett Adams, of Portsmouth; three children, Mrs. Barker, Edward Knox and Eva Knox; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning, at 10:30, from the home at 913 North D street, the Rev. E. W. Haffert, of Cincinnati, officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.
