Tony served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict in Germany. He was employed and retired from Kaiser Aluminum. He was a member of St. George Church and served as an usher at the church. He was a member of various local clubs. Tony's passion was gardening and he always enjoyed sharing the fruits of his labor with his family, friends, and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Piccola Battaglia; a brother, Achille "Bert" Battaglia; and a sister, Louise "Nita" Notto.
Survivors include his son, Anthony A. Battaglia of Erie; daughters, Denise Blair and her husband, Vance of Erie and Teresa Danylko and her husband, Robert of Harborcreek; a brother, Ambrose Battaglia; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Entombment in Mary, Queen of Peace Cemetery Mausoleum.
