The Kennedy Assassination
Blanche Connally Kline was at the Trade Mart luncheon awaiting the arrival of her brother, Governor John Connally, and President Kennedy when the assassination took place. When she heard about the assassination, she immediately approached Texas Hwy Patrol Officer, Bobby Nolan (Find A Grave Memorial# 131509360), who was stationed at the Trademart, and asked him to take her to Parkland Hospital to see her brother. Nolan talks about this in his extensive youtube interview recorded before he died. It is mentioned at at 0:45 and Nolan discusses it at 6:40+ in the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fN9jIAiGNYg
She also recorded an Oral History interview for the 6th Floor Museum in Dallas, February 7, 1998. Like the bulk of their oral history videos, unfortunately, it is not available on youtube - you must go to Dallas to the 6FM to view it.
