Allen Genealogy and McCabe agree on this: Her husband fought in the Revolutionary War as a Private in the Continental Line as shown in the Virginia Land County records on file at Richmond, Va. He died at Winchester bet Nov 15 (will made) && Dec 6 1791 (will probated). His wife, Martha, qualified as executrix as "Martha", her maiden name was Alexander. Both are buried in the Old Opequon Church near Winchester, Virginia.

Names as his wife: Solony to have the upper part of their home plantation with the dwelling house and other appurtenances, situated on the road leading to David BROWN, and said plantation to support their daughters: Deborah, Martha, Ann, Mary, Elizabeth, Nancy and Sarah until their youngest daughter reaches 18 years.


Named as his daughters: Deborah, Martha, Ann, Mary, Elizabeth, Nancy and Sarah.


Named as his sons: Montgomery to have the lower part of the home plantation, with the old dwelling house, whereon they once lived, also to have the upper part of the plantation, after the death of his wife, also to have the bond of 27 pounds held by Thomas ALLEN.
