Florance E. Hall, 97, died October 1, 2016. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at Summers Funeral Homes, Ustick Chapel. Reverend Ralph Lawrence will be officiating. A private burial will be at Dry Creek Cemetery. Florance and her twin brother were born May 9, 1919 in Eagle to Buell and Margaret Hawkins. She received her education at Maple Grove Grade School and Franklin High School. She married Arthur Hall June 1937, lived in Nampa where their daughter Donna was born in 1940. They moved to Oakland, CA, worked during WWII, then to Boise in 1950. Florance worked at The Cash Bazaar for several years, also active in volunteer community work. She was a seamstress for others for many years, loved knitting and crocheting as her hobby. She was presently a member of the Whitney United Methodist Church with prior membership in the Meridian Church where she served on numerous commissions, enjoyed her many years as chairman of receptions and working on church bazaars. She and her husband enjoyed retirement on cruises, tours abroad and through the states. Also spent several winters in Arizona. They lived in retirement centers the past 13 years. Florance is survived by her daughter Donna and husband Gary Craig of Spanaway, WA; 2 granddaughters, Connie and husband Darren Kingman of Mesa, AZ and Kelli and husband Jeff Cronn of Kent, WA; 6 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. Also, dear friends Rod Carr, and Joanne and Burl Young. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Art, sister Audrey, and her twin brother Lawrence.
