Services for Christopher "Kyle" Brown will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Veal Switch Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Veal Switch Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of Visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Kyle is survived by his wife, Becca Brown; children, Molly and Landri Brown; brother, BJ Brown; parents, Bobby Brown and Mayla Honeycutt; special friends he considered brothers, Lee Blankenship, Patrick Davidson, Lee Savage, Reagan Williams, J.R. Brooks, Michael "Slim" Wesley; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Published in Shreveport Times on Oct. 6, 2016∼Kyle was born to Bobby Brown and Mayla Honeycutt. He was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca O'dell Brown, his children, Molly Jewel Brown and Landri Jade Brown. He is also survived by his older brother, Bobby "BJ" Brown Jr.
Kyle was an oilfield rig hand and lived and breathed for oil exploration. Kyle really loved the outdoors and was especially fond of fishing.
The family requests any memorial donations be made toward brain cancer research.
