DECATUR --Services for Ross Rohl Sr., 81, of 300 E. Delaware, who died Saturday in St. Joseph Hospital in South Bend, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Newell Funeral Home. Rev. Theodore Neeley, pastor of First United Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Keeler Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home after 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Born Sept. 14. 1895, in Three Oaks, he married Matilda Peiske on Jan. 23. 1921. She died Oct. 5. 1961. Rohl was a truck dnver for many years and was a World War I veteran. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Berndt of St. Joseph, and Mrs. Jane Ickes and Mrs. Pauline Brewer, both of Decatur; three sons, Ross Jr. and Glen, both of Decatur, and Edward of Buchanan; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren."
