She was the daughter of Kile Honeycutt and Ardis Ponder Honeycutt. She is preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Reinoehl.
Boots attended Mars Hill College thru her sophomore year. She spent the next 17 years as a military wife, one of the hardest professions around. She spent all of those years as a Girl Scout leader, even before her girls were old enough.
She was the president and tour guide of the military wives club in Stuttgart, Germany for 5 years. She was very active in St. Andrew Catholic Church, teaching both young and old. Boots was much loved and will be greatly missed.
A visitation will be held 2 - 4:00pm Sunday, October 9, 2016 at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church followed by a Funeral Mass on Monday, October 10 at 11:00am. Father Fred Werth will officiate.
