The funeral for Ross R. Bobbe, 34, Linton, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Zion Lutheran Church, Ellendale, with the Revs. Leo Deitmeyer and Larry Harvala officiating. Burial will be in the Ellendale Cemetery, with military rites by the Carrington National Guard. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, with a prayer service at 8 p.m., at Myers-Weigel Funeral Home, Linton. He died Sunday, December 1, 1991, in an airplane accident.
Mr. Bobbe was born July 23, 1957, at Ellendale, the son of Roger and Dorothy Bobbe. He graduated from Ellendale High School in 1975, he attended North Dakota State University at Fargo and Bottineau. He married Kathy Aljoe May 29, 1981, at Tower City. They farmed for three years near Ellendale. He attended the Wahpeton State School of Science and received an electrical technician degree. He worked for Tri-County Electric in Carrington before moving to Linton in October 1991. He was manager of member service and marketing of KEM Electric in Linton. He was president of Toastmasters in Carrington and was a member of the National Guard.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Shane Ross, Linton; a daughter, Amber Jo, Linton; his parents, Forbes; a brother, Mark, Forbes; and three sisters, Ellen Harrison Leola, S.D., Mary Hoots, Forbes, and Amy Sand, Ellendale.
