Sister Henrietta Roberts

Sister Henrietta Roberts was born March 19, 1912 to the late Henry and Pauline Stovall Davis in Hamilton, Mississippi.

She attended Stovall Crossing School in Hamilton, MS. She confessed faith in Christ at an early age and joined Sulphur Springs M.B. Church.

Henrietta was united in Holy matrimony to the late William H. Roberts on April 16, 1933. To this union four children was born. Two children (Doris and Ollie) preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Reed.

Henrietta later joined Cedar Grove M.B. Church where she was a member of the Missionary Society and the Usher Board. She was also actively involved in the Rural Community Development club and the 4-H club. Sister Henrietta departed life on November 4, 2000.

She leaves to cherish her memory: two daughters, Georgia M. Jones and Virginia (Moses) James both of Columbus, MS; 11 grandchildren, 12 great- grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild, two sisters-in-law, Lucy Johnson and Deliah Roberts and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
