Paul Hazel Larson, 87, passed away January 2, 2005, in Austin, Texas. She was the wife of the late Jackson M. Larson.

Born in Goose Creek, Texas, Mrs. Larson, and her husband retired to Austin in 1981 from Houston.

A graduate of Jefferson Davis School of Nursing in 1945, Mrs. Larson served as a school nurse in the Spring Branch Independent schools from 1955-1977. She was a member of Southwest Christian Church in Austin and a charter member of Spring Branch Christian Church in Houston. After retiring to Austin she became an active member of the "Maybees" in the Austin Quilt Guild, a volunteer of over 2000 hours at St. David's Hospital, and a member of the Senior Saints at her church.

Mrs. Larson is survived by her daughter, Paula B. Faught and husband, Cris, granddaughter, Laurie Faught, and grandson, Drew Faught, and wife, Ginger, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at Southwest Christian Church in Austin on Thursday, January 6th. Arrangements with Harrell Funeral Home, 4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, TX
