Early Resident Passes Away
Rober (sic) Aken Dies at Richland Center, Wisconsin
IS BURIED HERE TODAY
Miss Clara Aken received the sad message Sunday conveying the news of the death of her brother, Robert Aken at Richland Center, Wisconsin, death being due to pneumonia, from which he was sick only a short time. Word from Mrs. Aken states that the body will be shipped to Lehigh for burial and will arrive today. From the news received it is expected that the body will arrive on the morning Great Western and if it does ? services will be held from the Christian church, conducted by Rev. Walton. The interment will ? at the Blanchard cemetery east of town.
Robert Aken lived to be 67 years old. He made his home in this place for a number of years, moving from here about fifteen years ago to Webster City where he lived a number of years and later the family moved to Richland Center where they have since resided. Besides a surviving wife, he leaves five children. One brother and four sisters (the rest of this poor copy is too difficult to read)
