Walter "Wally" P. Dueno Jr., age 45, of 1417 S. 31st Street, Manitowoc, died Friday, October 7, 2016 at his residence.

A wonderful man died today. A man that was everyone's best friend. He was always prepared with a good joke, bringing laughter and joy into everyone's world. He was most content when surrounded by his family, or spending quiet moments alone amongst nature. This wonderful man walked through life leaving a lasting imprint on many hearts. He was born on May 23, 1971 in Manitowoc, son of Geneva (Vesely) Dueno and the late Walter P. Dueno Sr. Wally was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Class of 1989. He attended Lakeshore Technical College where he earned a Marketing Degree. Wally loved his children and his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, his dog Skeeter and sharing jokes and stories. Wally was a member of the Central Wisconsin Gun Collectors Association, the Reedsville Sportsman Club, Viking Bow & Gun Club and Manitowoc Rifle & Pistol Club.

Survivors include one son: Collin Dueno, DePere; one daughter: Macy Dueno, Manitowoc; his mother: Geneva Dueno, Manitowoc; his fiancé: Jennifer Lemerande, Manitowoc, and her children: Heidi Radey and Megan Radey; five sisters and three brothers-in-law: Diane Free, Manitowoc, Denise & Richard Raute, Kingston, IL., Dori & Jim Luchsinger, Manitowoc, Donna & Dennis Yorkson, Weyauwega, Debra Dueno, Sheboygan Falls; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Daniel & Joy Dueno, Manitowoc, David & Ana Dueno, Zurich, Switzerland; and the mother of his children: Jennifer Gelhar, Manitowoc. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his father: Walter P. Dueno Sr. and a brother-in-law: Gary Free.

The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 14, 2016. Friends may also call Saturday morning at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo (1121 North 14th Street) Manitowoc, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2016 at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo (1121 North 14th Street) Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dave Pleier and con-celebrating will be the Rev. Gerald Foley with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
