Clyde, Jr., 80, of OKC died June 1, 2006. Clyde was born Oct. 19, 1925 in Okmulgee, OK to Clyde and Daisy. He was preceded in death by: his parents, sister Juanita, son Pat and grandchild Lisa. Clyde graduated from Preston High School where he lettered in basketball. At age 17, Clyde enlisted in the US Navy, serving on the USS Mississippi in the South Pacific during WWII and was very proud of his service to his Country. After the Navy, he attended the University of Oklahoma (he loved Sooner sports). After completion of college, Clyde married Marion Lee (Wilson) Boss. They had 3 children, Mike, Pat and Kim. After a long career in the Rest Equipment business in OKC, Houston and Austin he retired. After a short retirement, he went to work for his friend Ronnie at Lauren Concrete in Austin, TX. In 2005, Clyde returned to OKC and worked as a volunteer courier for Oklahoma Outreach Foundation in OKC until his death. Clyde loved to Country and Western Dance, especially with his granddaughter Stephanie. He is survived by Marion, Mike and his wife Debbie, Kim and her husband BW Hale ; grandchildren Orvel, James, Steph, Danielle, Jeff; great-grandchildren Chilton, Seth, Gabriel, Haven; brothers David and Jimmy; sister, Barbara and his extended family, Paul Pennbacker, Ronnie and Cindy Klatt and their children Ryan, Katie, Bella and Piper, and all of his wonderful friends in Austin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oklahoma Outreach Foundation, 1700 W. Britton Rd., OKC, OK 73120 or your favorite charity. A memorial service will be held 11am Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at Guardian North Funeral Home Chapel.
