Mae D. Darter was born in Sikeston, Mo., on October 10, 1909, to Arthur and Nelly (Meek) Darter. In October of 1930, in Vienna, Ill., she married Everett Braggs, who preceded her in death in 1963.
She worked as a nurses? aide at the former Moline Public Hospital.
Mae enjoyed gardening, and she loved dogs.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Norma (Richard) Lanzen of Moline, Glenna (Keith) Yuskis of Silvis, Marilyn Ryan of Arizona, Everett "Gino" (Janice) Braggs of Moline, William (Joy) Braggs of Phoenix, Ariz., and Cheryl (Earl) Johnson of California; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
