Doris J. Mangan, born May 24, 1928, went home to be with her Father on July 3, 2015.
Doris was born in Iliff, Colorado to William and Christina Bugh. She was the youngest of five girls. She graduated from St. Joseph's High School in Denver in 1946. Doris married Jerry Mangan and together they had 5 children. A homemaker while her children were young, Doris later became a cosmetologist, owning her own salon for many years. She eventually sold her salon and became a realtor. In 2007, she moved to Fort Collins where she lived with her youngest daughter and her family until her death.
She is survived by her 5 children, Sue Hart, Dave Mangan, Judi (Randy) Moore, Diane Barrett, and Kelly (Troy) Suto, 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry and 4 sisters.
A celebration of Doris's life is scheduled for 10:30 AM on Thursday, July 9 at Saint Mark Catholic Church, 3141 W. 96th Avenue, Westminster, CO 80031. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Honduras Mission Trip c/o Life Church of Ft. Collins, 1501 Academy Ct Suite 105, Fort Collins, CO 80524.
