On July 13, 1968 Betty married Gerald "Jerry" Stanley Knight. They had one child: Heather Elayne. Gerald and Betty divorced in 1978.

Gerald was born August 8, 1944 in Omaha, Nebraska to Oren P. and May (Endquist) Knight.

Betty was preceded in death by parents Allen and Helen Morford and sister Shirley Boyer. She is survived by her daughter Heather (Joel) Hansen, granddaughter Meghan and Heather's father Jerry Knight. Visitation is on Tuesday, October 18th from 5 to 7 pm. Funeral service is Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Roeder Mortuary, 108th & Maple. Memorials to Covenant Presbyterian Church.
