Mrs. Amick passed away Friday, October 14, 2016. Born in Saluda County, she was a daughter of the late Ray W. and Lona Oswalt Shealy. She was a member of Cedar Grove Lutheran Church and retired from Monroe Calculator.
Surviving are her husband, Robert L. Amick; sons, Dr. Robert Amick (Nancy) and Richard Amick (Charlene); daughters, Mechele Slice (Terry), Melissa "Missy" Davis (Raymond), and Tasha Rodgers (Ricky); brothers, Donnie O., Roland L., Dial G., and Jerry R. Shealy; sisters, Yvonne Gibson and Patty Garrison; grandchildren, Drew Slice, Bailey Slice Parker, Cody Slice, Nathan Amick, Robert Amick, Adelaide Amick, Logan Amick, Matthew Amick, Derek Amick, Raimee Davis and Lexie Davis; great-grandchild, Kaden Slice. She was predeceased by a son, Russell "Rusty" C. Amick and siblings, Wilma Rae Covington, Adrienne Price, and J. Baxter Shealy.
