Tristram Frost Jordan is the author of The Jordan Memorial, Family Records of the Rev. Robert Jordan and his descendants in America, compiled 1882. Tristram is the son of Joseph and Mary Jordan.
According to this book (page 244), Joseph is the third son of Rishworth Jordan and Abigail Gerrish Jordan. He married 22 Jan 1789 Mary, eldest daughter of Major Samuel and Abigail (Frost) Leighton of Kittery, Maine.
After Joseph married, he came to the house of his father, Judge Rishworth Jordan, of Biddeford.

It appears the original burial site of some of Joseph's family was at Lower Biddeford Burying Ground and they were later moved to the Jordan Cemetery in Biddeford Pool, York County, Maine.
