Adolph Lauri Juntunen was born 22 Mar 1909 in Freda, Michigan to John Juntunen and Wilhelmiina Gustava Anttonen.

He was brother to:
Eeva Elsa, Charles John "Kalle", Hilda Marja, Vieno Sophia, Urho Willard, Waino Wilbert, Elma Elisabeth, Francis Edwin, Richard Wilho, Helen Miriam, Baby brother who died at birth, and Wilma Elaine.

He married Jessie Poush in a double wedding with his sister Vieno Sophia to Edward Jackola 13 Feb 1937 in Detroit, Michigan. From his marriage he had one son, Francis Eugene Juntunen. Those marriages ended in divorce. He then married Huldah Boussu who was a teacher and was happily married to her until his death.

He was a machinist by trade. He was the last of his siblings to pass away He was a jovial, man who was well loved by the family and friends. He loved baseball, the Detroit Tigers, and keeping up with his siblings and enjoying pinochle and the lively talk for the evening.

Adolph was survived by his loving wife Huldah;
his only child a son; Francis Eugene (Veronica); and
Grandson Michael Juntunen. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
