Mr. Manelski was a leather worker for 35 years for Allied Kid. He was later employed by the Holiday Inn on Route 202, working in the maintenance department. He was a Naval Veteran of World War II and a member of the "Seabees." He was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Church. His wife, Anna Stecher Manelski died in 1997.
Mr. Manelski is survived by 2 sons, Harry F. of Wilmington and Charles A., Jr. of Newark; 2 daughters, Frances Wisniewski and Deborah M. Gwynn, both of Wilmington; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
