An employe of the Ideal Electric Co., he suffered a fractured skull in a plunge down the stairs at a rest room on the public square about 5 p.m. He was returning home from work. Acting Coroner, A. C. Biddle, returned a verdict of accidental death.
Mr. Kagey was a native of Ashland county, coming to Mansfield 39 years ago. Survivors include his widow; one son, Afton S. at home; two brothers, W. A. and Martin, both of Mansfield; five sisters, Mrs. Martha Hershey of Niagara Falls, NY, Mrs. Charles Hoover of Ashland, Mrs. Frank Staman and Mrs. Aaron Cole, both of Mifflin, and Mrs. R. D. Hale of Mansfield.
Services will be conducted Tuesday at the Wappner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Windsor Cemetery.
