Billie Love was an honest, genuine, warm, loving woman to all she came in contact with. From the twinkle in her eye, especially when she saw children, to her quick wit when winning at 42 (dominos), to her wonderful laugh and smile which we will all remember. She made an impression on the people she came in contact with and will be missed greatly by her family. A life well lived!
Billie was a member of Church of Christ for many years, until her health declined a few years ago as was unable to attend. Billie enjoyed spending time with her family and her church. Sewing, knitting and crocheting were hobbies she enjoyed, along with her yearly canning.
Surviving family members include her two sons, Jerry Love of Montrose, and Jeff Love of Littleton, Colorado; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Clint, a son Larry Love, and daughter Judy Rumbaugh and grandson Dean Love.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Billie’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Crippin Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Paul Nystrom officiating.
Interment will follow the service at Cedar Cemetery, east of Montrose, next to her husband, Clint.
