Lawrence "Larry" A. Niemuth, 75, formerly of Kiel, passed away Monday morning, July 21, 2014 at Rocky Knoll Health Care, Plymouth just 9 days before his 76th birthday. He had resided at Rocky Knoll the past 20 years living with massive brain damage, all these years due to bleeds on the brain.

Larry has been set free to be with his Lord and Savior.

He was born on July 30, 1938, son of the late Henry F. & Marion (Pecnik) Niemuth.

Larry attended Sheboygan Falls High School. For four years he served with the U.S. Army. He was very proud to be a paratrooper while in the Army, serving one year in Germany.

After his discharge from the service he went to work at Bordens & Kohler.

He married the former Betty Vogel and together they had two sons, Brian & Bruce.

In 1977 Larry met the love of his life, Joanie Fuhrmann and together they managed the Sandpiper Supper Club in Plymouth. They later owned and operated Larry & Joanies Bar in Kiel. He had been employed at Ameriquip in New Holstein as a supervisor until his health caused him to retire.

Well known for his huge sense of humor Larry was the life of the party. He touched the many lives of those he knew and will be missed by many.

Larry enjoyed collecting antiques, garage sales & remodeling their homes. He was very handy and could fix just about anything.

He also enjoyed playing cards, belonging to many cards clubs, shaking dice and playing pool.

Survivors include his longtime sweetie, Joanie of Kiel, two sisters; Darlene Polster,

Dorothy (John) Kimme, Sheboygan Falls, one brother, Al Niemuth, a resident of Rocky Knoll, sister-in-law, Ruth Niemuth, Sheboygan. He is further survived by Joanie's children; Michelle (Mike) Brantmeier, Cory, Kevin (Chris), Michael (Amy) & Amy Fuhrmann and their children. Joanies family, Agnes (Robbie) Schrage, Mary (David) Abler, Mt. Calvary, Andrew (Mary) Gulig, Steve Gulig, Pipe, Cathy Gulig, Plymouth, Ralph (Jackie) Gulig, Janet (Dave) Ahern, Fond du Lac and David (Kathy) Gulig, New Jersey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by three brothers; Henry Jr., Donald (Mary) & Marvin Niemuth, one brother-in-law, Harry Polster, one sister-in-law, Luanne Niemuth and Joanies brother,Bill Gulig.

Cremation has taken place.
